General Director of Operations and Finance:  Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including personnel management, quality control, and profit/loss. Position supervises the work of approximately 15 employees, and reports to ownership. Specific job duties include:

 

-       Work with ownership to identify company goals and improvement strategies;

-       Review financial reports on monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to identify company financial objectives and evaluate efficiency;

-       Set pricing of items and plan sales promotions;

-       Prepare marketing materials and strategies;

-       Engage with suppliers and vendors to ensure operating costs remain within budget;

-       Hire, train, and evaluate new employees;

-       Develop and implement policies relating to personnel management;

-       Monitor performance of employees; 

-       Foster development of interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution between employees;

-       Prepare employee schedules and assign tasks;

-       Ensure that high-quality products and services are provided to customers; and

-       Coordinate administrative tasks necessary for daily operations.

 

Required bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Sales Management, Business or Commercial Engineering or a related field, plus at least 2 years (24 months) prior experience as a Supervisor, Manager, or Operations Director in a commercial setting where management of multiple people was required.
